     BB352 is a charming Bajan beach cottage but with so much more.  Cozy and comfortable, this four bedroom, three bathroom beachfront villa enjoys an enviable position directly on Gibbes Beach - one of the finest in Barbados - on the West or Platinum Coast of the island.

     Surrounded by tropical flowers and foliage, this delightful coral stone vacation home's casual ambiance is enhanced throughout with handsome native mahogany furnishings and lovely antiques.  The villa's extensive open-plan living and dining area was designed to capture the lovely tropical breezes while providing views of the Caribbean Sea.  This area opens onto a spacious, covered verandah appointed with dining and seating areas - plus a wet bar - inviting complete relaxation.

     All four bedrooms are air conditioned and have ceiling fans.  The Master Bedroom is located on the second floor and features a queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom, and a wide picture window that overlooks the sea and gardens.  Downstairs, the second seaside bedroom, which also has an expansive view of Gibbes Beach, has two twin beds (can be combined to make a king) and an en-suite bathroom.  The remaining two twin-bedded bedrooms (the twins can also be connected to make a king) overlook the gardens and share a bathroom.

     BB352's large, beachfront patio is the ideal spot to relax with family and/or friends in a truly Caribbean setting.  After taking a swim in the turquoise Caribbean Sea, which is only steps away and reached via a conveniently-placed gate, enjoy a libation in the sun or dine al fresco in the shade of the tamarind tree.  There's also a small lily pond and a breadfruit tree on property.

     This villa has always been very popular with our clients who are looking for direct beachfront access to the pristine white sand.  It's a wonderful, well-priced choice for families because the beach is only a stone's throw from the patio, and the gardens provide ample space for children to play.  The bedding configuration in the twin-bedded rooms can be adjusted to king-size beds making it suitable for four couples.  

     Adults would enjoy walking on the beach (Gibbes Beach meets Mullins Beach to the north allowing for romantic strolls or brisk walks), watching the magnificent sunsets, or gazing at the star-studded sky from the property. Additionally, at this attractive price point, it is rare to find a beachfront villa with a staff of three:  a cook who will prepare three meals per day, and a housekeeper/laundress.  A second laundress is provided for rentals of six (6) or more guests.

     BB352 is a short drive from Speightstown, the closest shopping area, and is convenient to the local fish market.  This historic little town offers an array of enchanting and casual restaurants tempting visitors with their authentic Caribbean cuisine and sea vistas.  Not to be missed is the Gallery of Caribbean Art and Arlington House - a 'must see' interactive museum with audio-visual features of 'Old Barbados'.   Holetown is about 15 minutes away by car.

     It should be noted that BB352 is a beachfront home.  Beaches on Barbados can change their shape and size from day to day, week to week, and month to month in response to seasonal waves, currents, and tides. Every effort has been made to properly depict the beach in front of this property, but temporary changes may occur which are beyond our control.

     No smoking inside the villa.  Children are welcome; no pets.
