      Just north of Holetown, on Barbados's famed West Coast, is a small collection of delightful Mediterranean-styled, three-bedroom residences that sit right off the beach in the exclusive area of St. James known as The Garden.  The intimacy of this setting is one key factor that attracts repeat visitors who savor the easy access to a rather quiet, pristine, palm-fringed, crescent-shaped, white-sand beach, and appreciate the seclusion afforded by fragrant, colorful, mature tropical gardens and stunning ocean views. 

     BB408 is an idyllic three-bedroom villa configured over three floors, part of a collection of eight split-level townhouses that surround a large, shared, resort-style swimming pool.  A low embankment furnished with steps leads visitors down to the beach is only a stone's throw away.

     Coastal chic decor blends nicely with the cool clay tiles, spacious terraces, and high whitewashed ceilings throughout this uniquely-tiered, open-plan design that draws the exquisite scenery into every room. 

     The formal dining room leads down through the breezy living room and out onto the lovely covered verandah where guests can enjoy al fresco meals overlooking the gardens, shared swimming pool, and the beach just beyond.  The modern kitchen is managed by the friendly cook who has a wonderful reputation for preparing all your meals just as desired.    

     Each of the three air-conditioned bedrooms has their own personality, elegantly furnished in island hues, with bath en suite and direct access to the patio via French doors.

     Guests have a choice of lounging in the privacy of their own plunge pool or making new friends at the large resort-style swimming pool only a few steps away.

     The bay in front of the villa is very calm and offers swimming and snorkeling - including the occasional visit by a sea turtle!

     Rental of BB408 includes the services of a housekeeper and cook (three meals per day) - a rare amenity for a villa in this price range - to help guests relax during their stay. 

     The villa is about a mile (five-minute drive) or so north of bustling Holetown, which dates back to the early 1600s and the island's first town.  Holetown boasts the open-air Limegrove Shopping Centre which features over 100 of the world's most notable designer brands (many at duty-free prices).  There is an art gallery, local boutiques, movie theater, spa, banks, a variety of coffee shops, restaurants and vibrant nightlife any given day of the week.  A more 'local experience' (casual beach bars, art galleries and museums) can be found nearby in the quaint fishing village of Speightstown.

     Children are welcome.  No pets.  We highly recommend that guests allow us to rent a car or have our driver 'on call' during their stay.
