     SM390 is a charming four (4) bedroom, four (4) bathroom hillside villa located in the highly desirable, gated community of Oyster Pond Estates on the Dutch side of the island.  Facing towards picturesque Oyster Pond and only a stone's throw to the French border, this property comprises a Main Villa (3 bedrooms) and Guest Apartment (1 bedroom), and is only a short drive down the hill to beautiful Dawn Beach (swimming, snorkeling, beach bar) and the Oyster Pond Marina (small grocery store, restaurant).

 

     From the pool deck and outdoor dining gallery there are wondrous views of the Atlantic Ocean and Oyster Pond.  The thoughtful construction of the Main Villa allows for seamless transition between indoors and out.  For early risers, this is a great place to enjoy the sunrise over the island.

 

     The Main Villa comprises three bedrooms.  The Master Suite boasts an ocean view, king-size mahogany bed and en suite bathroom, and opens out onto the pool deck via sliding glass doors.  The second bedroom is next to the Master Bedroom, has a garden view, and also features a mahogany king-size bed.  There is a bathroom in the hallway which is shared by this bedroom and the living area.  A third bedroom is on the opposite side of the kitchen, and has a queen-size mahogany bed and private bathroom.

 

     All three bedrooms are air conditioned, have a ceiling fan and a safe, and open onto the main living area of the villa, making this a wonderful choice for families as well as couples traveling together.  Bathrooms have showers, hair dryers and single bowl sinks. Two of the bedrooms have TVs.

 

     The very large, air-conditioned living and dining areas in the Main House are furnished  with imported teak and rattan furniture from Indonesia.  The living area spills out onto the pool deck via wide sliding glass doors that open almost the entire length of the wall.  SM390 is appointed with a large, flat-screen, cable TV; DVD; and a stereo with CD player in the living room.

 

     The adjacent, newly-renovated, fully-equipped kitchen is  spacious and has a breakfast bar with three (3) stools and a pass-through that overlooks the living area.  The kitchen's amenities include a gas stove, electric oven, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, toaster oven and coffee maker. The dining area's table seats four (4). 

 

     On the lower level, there is a one bedroom Guest Apartment that has its own private entrance.  This self-contained Apartment also enjoys wonderful sea views, and features its own living area with TV, small kitchen with breakfast bar, and separate bedroom (king bed) area with air conditioning and en suite bathroom.

 

     The swimming pool deck, which is appointed with 6 chaise lounges, boasts gorgeous views and surrounds a covered gallery for outdoor dining on a magnificent mahogany table (seats 6).  There are also a BBQ grill, security system and generator.

 

     SM390 is a short drive to popular Dawn Beach, one of the nicest beaches on the Island, and is less than 10 minute's drive to the shopping, casinos, restaurants and nightlife of Philipsburg, the Dutch capital.  There is also a casino only five minutes down the road at the Westin.  French Marigot (the capital) and Grande Case for fine French cuisine and European shopping are 30 and 20 minutes away, respectively.
