     Guana Bay is located on the Dutch side (Sint Maarten), a short drive from the Philipsburg, the capital.  This is a fairly newly developed residential neighborhood of the island, where you will find villas and condominiums surrounding a lovely white sand beach.  Guana Bay Beach is known on the island for having ideal surfing conditions, and would also be a good place to snorkel when the sea in calm.  The beach here is less populated and more private than some of the other areas on Sint Maarten/Saint Martin.

     SM397 is an impressive seven (7) bedroom, seven (7) bathroom luxurious villa is located in Guana Bay, within walking distance (5 minutes) of Guana Bay Beach. The spectacular views, the back-drop of mountains and sky, and access to the sea make this stunning villa the perfect location for a large family or group of friends vacationing together.  This is also an excellent choice for a small business meeting or summit with its numerous bedrooms and table space to accommodate discussions. 

     SM397 is built on two levels.  The upper level is the main part of the villa and comprises five (5) bedrooms with bathrooms en suite.  Of the five bedrooms, three (3) are independent, equal Master Suites each with wonderful views, en-suite bathroom and queen-size bed.  Also on the upper level of the house, there are two (2) more bedrooms next to the living area: one outfitted with a set of bunk beds and a double bed (sleeps four in total) with wonderful views and an en-suite bathroom, and the other bedroom is appointed with a queen-size size bed, bath en suite, and again, a wonderful sea view.

     The villa has been decorated with contemporary designer furnishings from Europe, and has been thoughtfully appointed to provide all necessary amenities to please the most discerning of guests.  The air-conditioned living room, with its French furnishings, is exquisitely accoutered, and offers wonderful views of the ocean.  The indoor living area is bright and crisp with 18 foot-high white wood plantation ceilings offering a comfortable sitting area and in-door dining area for 6-8 persons.  Large glass doors open onto the pool area which offers an outdoor covered dining area for 12-16 persons.

     The impeccable gourmet kitchen offers granite countertops and is fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances including but not limited to an electric stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, toaster, blender, Nespresso machine, coffee maker, a full supply of china, glasses, crockery and pots, and all the utensils required to perform culinary mastery if you so choose.  

     Large sliding glass doors open onto an extensive terrace area, which encompasses a swimming pool, an outdoor covered dining area that seats 12-16 persons, a gazebo with an additional dining area for four (4) persons right next to the pool, a Jacuzzi and large Weber gas grill.

     The lower level of the villa adds the last two bedrooms.  Bedroom #6 has a queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom and ocean view.  Bedroom #7 is outfitted with a set of bunk beds and a double bed (sleeps four in total), en suite bathroom and garden views.  In addition, there is an outdoor shower, large garage area with a ping pong table, laundry room and a full-house generator.  Finally, there is a fully-equipped, air-conditioned fitness room (includes a treadmill, elliptical trainer, bench with weight set including leg developer, AB circle Pro-machine, home gym with 6 workout stations and free weights) with TV and sofas.

     The villa’s extensive space, rooms, patios, outside terrace, Jacuzzi, gazebo and swimming pool join together to create a wonderful, harmonious flow further defined by extensive, luxuriant gardens.  A large wooden gazebo is located in the coconut field to ensure complete privacy and offer a magic relaxing time.
