    SM406 is a modern, three-bedroom villa located in the gated Oyster Pond Hillside.  This unique villa boasts a unique architecture, reminiscent of Southwestern adobes, and offers stunning vistas of the Caribbean Sea, surrounding hillsides, and Orient Bay from various points throughout the residence and its outdoor patios.

 

     SM406 is set on two levels.   The distinctive 'flow' throughout the villa incorporates the rooms, balconies and outside terrace area with private swimming pool blending together to create a comfortable living atmosphere for guests' enjoyment.  The garden around the villa features lush foliage that further enhances the spectacular views.

 

     On the entrance level, there are two Guest Bedrooms, each tastefully furnished with a king-size bed, 32" LCD TV (cable TV), spacious closets, air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, private terrace and en-suite bathroom. Both of these Guest Bedrooms open onto a private terrace area that take full advantage of the spectacular views.  There is a bistro set (2 chairs and ottoman/coffee table) for indoor or outdoor use.  From the private terrace of each bedroom, there is direct access to the lower terrace and swimming pool via the outside staircase.  In addition, there is a powder room (half bath) and laundry area with washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board on this floor.  

 

     The lower level (which is the main level of the villa) comprises a spacious living and dining area, an open kitchen, Master Bedroom and private swimming pool with terrace.

 

     The living room and dining area are exquisitely furnished, combining rattan, hardwood and modern lighting to create a rare mix of modern and Caribbean design which meld perfectly and harmoniously in this exceptional villa.  The entertainment area in the living room is appointed with a flat screen 42” TV (cable), DVD player, stereo system with Surround Sound system (inside and outside by the pool area), and iPod dock.  The indoor dining area seats eight (8).

 

     The impeccable and immaculate, fully-equipped kitchen's design includes granite counter tops, state-of-the-art deluxe stainless steel appliances, a double-door refrigerator with ice maker, gas stove, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender and a full supply of china, glasses, cooking utensils, crockery, and pots to satisfy the gourmet chef.  From the kitchen, there is a pass-through bar to the outside swimming pool and terrace, making it easy to enjoy a morning coffee while watching the sun rise, or relax with a delicious libation and meal around the pool.

 

     The Master Bedroom is elegantly furnished and offers a king-size bed, 32" LCD TV (cable), spacious closets, air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe and en-suite bathroom with shower and double vessel sinks and a  hairdryer.  The Master Bedroom opens directly onto the pool area where you can enjoy the spectacular views from this villa.

 

     Large sliding glass doors open onto an outdoor pool/terrace area on the main level where guests may enjoy the panoramic view and gentle trade winds.  This villa features a lovely infinity swimming pool surrounded by an ample terrace outfitted with comfortable, stylish lounge chairs for sunbathing and an outdoor canopied/lounger bed, an outdoor dining area with seating for 10 people, and gas BBQ grill.  In addition, there is an outdoor half bath for use while enjoying the swimming pool.

 

     SM406 is only a short drive (2 minutes) down the hill to beautiful Dawn Beach (ideal for swimming and snorkeling and one of our favorites on the island), the ferry service from Oyster Pond to St. Barths, and a casino.  Orient Bay (French side), the center for watersports on the island, is about 15 minutes away by car.  Philipsburg, the Dutch capital and where you will find the best duty-free shopping on the island, is about 10 minutes away (3 miles), about 30 minutes to Marigot (French side capital), and the gourmet restaurants and quaint local art galleries and shops of picturesque Grand Case are 20 minutes drive.
